The Housing Industry Association (HIA) has appointed a new Executive Director for Tasmania, Rick Sassin.

Mr Sassin is a qualified architect with project experience including residential, hospitality, commercial, retail, medical and community facility developments.

His previous role was Senior Project Manager at KEO International Consultants.

Rick also has extensive State and local government experience, having been the City Architect at Liverpool City Council in Sydney for eight years.
