MechLog Wins Two National Industry Awards.

Tasmanian forestry company MechLog has picked up two national awards at the 2019 Green Triangle Timber Industry Awards.

The awards recognise excellence in the forestry industry and were presented at a gala event attended by more than 500 guests in Mount Gambier. MechLog’s CEO, Jillian Aylett Brown, said she was proud and surprised to win two of the main awards.

“This is the second time we have entered the Green Triangle Timber Industry Awards. We entered to participate and to show support for the industry. To actually win two of the main awards was a fantastic surprise. Most of our team attended the awards, so we were so pleased they could see their hard work and commitment to MechLog recognised by the forestry industry,” she said.

“We are immensely proud of our Green Triangle Manager, Ben Rosenthal, who won the Most Outstanding Contribution to the Timber Industry (Male) Award. MechLog also received the prestigious 2019 Safety Excellence Award. MechLog has been operating in Tasmania since 1994. The company expanded its operations to the Green Triangle on the South Australian-Victorian border in 2014.
