Tasmanian industry super fund Tasplan has announced the appointment of former CBUS CIO, Trish Donohue as a Non-Executive Director of Tasplan Pty Ltd, effective 1 January 2019.
Ms Donohue’s appointment, achieved via a nomination of the Local Government Association of Tasmania, reflects Tasplan’s focus on ensuring there continues to be an appropriate skills mix on the Board.
Ms Donohue has spent many years as a senior institutional investment executive, having spent 18 years at CBUS and was awarded joint Conexus Chief Investment Officer of the Year in 2017.
Currently a Director of the Infrastructure Victoria Audit and Risk Committee, Ms Donohue has extensive not-for-profit and government related board and committee experience, including as a past Director with the Australian Council of Superannuation Investors and also the Investment Management Consultants Association.
Ms Donohue holds a Bachelor of Science (Mathematics Major) from Melbourne University and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia and an Associate Actuary of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia.
