Tasmanian businesses are invited to a workshop to discuss the challenges, issues and opportunities of dealing with the China market.

The Tasmanian branch of the Australia China Business Council together with the Asia Institute Tasmania and the University of Tasmania is holding the Event at the University’s Centenary Lecture Hall, on Thursday 25 May 2017 from 4:00pm start to 6.30pm.

Guest speaker is Director at Asialink’s China Practice, Nicholas Henderson. Nick has more than 17 years’ experience in business development and operations in China.

He began his career with IKEA and was instrumental in establishing the company’s first stores in Shanghai and Beijing.

Nick has assisted more than 100 companies with their business growth in complex Chinese markets focusing on sectors including industrial, food and consumer, telecommunications, life sciences, environmental technologies and software.

The workshop is free and open to everyone with an interest in the Chinese market, whether doing business with or in China, or the inbound Chinese visitor economy.

It is an opportunity to workshop your China business issues and challenges, learn about the many exciting opportunities between Australia and China and hear practical business advice from knowledgeable and China-experienced ACBC members.
