Tasmanian builders Ronald Young & Co have been named Australia’s Professional Small Builder/Renovator at the 2015 HIA-CSR Australian Housing Awards.
Ronald Young & Co directors Paul and Lisa Burnell accepted the award at a ceremony at the Gold Coast Convention & Exhibition Centre last weekend.
The HIA-CSR Australian Housing Awards are the ultimate platform to showcase the talents of the nation’s top builders and designers, with Ronald Young & Co the only Tasmanian award winners in 2015.
The Australian Professional Small Builder/Renovator award recognises outstanding business achievement and provides the opportunity for home builders to demonstrate their commitment to customer service, business management and leadership.
Mr Burnell said it was a great honour to be recognised by the HIA.
“We are committed to the Tasmanian industry, building new homes for all Tasmanians, with our core business based in Southern Tasmania,” he said.
“This award recognises all the hard work of our team – our 12 highly-qualified staff and also our 100 trade contractors and suppliers.
“We bought the business in 2011, aiming to build on the great reputation of Ronald Young & Co for the past 40 years.”
HIA is Australia’s peak building industry body representing more than 40,000 builders, suppliers and contractors involved in residential construction.
