STONEMAN’S Garden Centre is the state winner of the Best Lifestyle Garden Centre for 2014 in the Nursery and Garden Industry of Australia Awards.

It is now one of five national finalists in the running for the title as Best Lifestyle Garden Centre in the country for 2014.

Stoneman’s operations manager, Susan Stoneman, credited the recent transformation of the Chapel Street site as a key factor in the state award win and its selection as a national finalist.

“Stoneman’s is famous in the marketplace for its fabulous colour and quirky displays, which we have kept as a theme with the recent transformation of the warehouse,” Ms Stoneman said.

“When people drive down Grove Road in Glenorchy, they spot us immediately thanks to our bright pink Volkswagen Gardening Bug, which is packed full of flowers and was lucky enough to feature in the current edition of Groundswell magazine.”

The Stoneman’s Garden Centre is a Tasmanian family-owned and operated business, which has been serving the gardening community in Tasmania for more than 25 years, with an excellent reputation in the marketplace.

Ms Stoneman said all the staff prided themselves on meeting the highest standards in the industry.

“We’re well known for our integrity, high standard of business ethics, top-quality products and customer service, with highly experienced staff who provide inspiration, advice and outstanding customer service,” she said.
